D-Day

Funny .. it was way harder than I thought to tender a resignation; especially when just days ago i was full of angst and resentment.

Was at Charles office around 11am, kinda amazing hez up considering the amount of junks he might have put in yesterday .. hehe..

So there was I sitting in front of Komathi's room, waiting for the moment of truth. It came and in a quite poker way, he read and after a slight pause, he ask the golden question ... y?

Why ah? hmm ... how to answer le? Should I have just told him the truth? Half truth or goreng my way out ...

Anyhow, I told him the half truth, well not that I lied bout the remaining 50%, i just withold it from him. Chatted bout the my plans in Melium/Nike and ended with a (i hope) sincere blessings from him.

Come to think bout it now, I'm leaving one of the succesful organisation in modern retailing to one which is rather unknown to me. I guess months from now, I'll be thanking Giant for whatever I have managed to learn, do and excel (except Kepong Desa) ... maybe I wont? ... Nah .. wont be that ungrateful one.

Thanks Giant and especially those people who have been with me all this while ... Jennifer, June Lee, Andy Lau, Uncle Teh, Balan, Baker Tan, Yip, Chooi, Steven, Susan, Ben, Mus, Mr Koh, Mun Hao, Goh, Christina.. I'll definitely cherish the 3.5 yrs that I have been here ... Herez to the future !!!
