Sometimes I tend to forget how chinese I am (ermm... not that i fully know in the first place), or rather, how conservative and superstitious I could get. So yesterday's news was another jolt to my failing memory and boggled senses.
Just got to know my new house number ... yes, house number and that happens to start with the dreaded number 4! So number 41 it is for my house ... not too bad (at least i have the priced number ONE) but soon I was found consoling myself that I could have mis-calculated during the buying process and landed with my neighbour's 44!!! then the consolation soon faded away when i realised the reverse is also true ... two door's away and that lucky-devil-who-paid-the-same-price got number 38!!! mana boleh? aarrgghhh.... i want justice!!
sigh, it took me the whole day to sink in the fact....Know where can I get a REAL horse shoe?
