Rubbernecker

Got this from the net... check this out, how true!!!

More than two-thirds of British drivers admit to slowing down to have "a good look" when they pass a road accident, and 10 per cent confess to having actually stopped for a better view (of the number?)!!!
The practice is revealed in a survey which
also shows one in 20 motorists has had an accident after being distracted by another crash. A spokesman said: "This is a real eye-opener. It may be tempting to look at an accident, but it's vital for safety to concentrate on the road ahead."

Wonder whats the number like in KL ya? Neway, doesnt take a genius to sum up the number of nimkampuks along Federal Highway who are guilty of this. Me at least, could not be borthered at all unless the crash involves
1. A very nice Audi A4
2. A very nice Audi A4
3. A very nice Audi A4
ok.. sorry for that,cheap thrill

But then again, by virtue of NOT slowing down to take a quick peek, we could also potentially missed out the spilt second decision to help if there are grave danger whenever an accident has just occured. Me personally am guilty of this sometime last year after a late nite mamak session in USJ. Was heading back to my house when I notice a 3-4 car pile up, with a few cars parked along the kerbs. Little did I notice that one of my friend's car was involved in that accident and his car has been left stranded due to punctured tyre and crooked rim. Happily I drove by and back for my slumber... only months later while talking bout some accident stuffs that the friend of mine lamented bout his accident did I realised I was THERE at the accident scene and did nothing but drive through!!!

Shame on you Alvin!!!

I thought it's a Malaysian phenomenon. Oh well, I hate people who slow down to look, so I don't do it myself. Sometimes I don't slow down but I STILL look. I guess I could be the 1 in 20 next, uhm.

Shame on you Alvin!

It's so ironic...I am listening to beautiful disaster and here I am reading about accidents. Anyway, that is not the point - I think sometimes it's because EVERY SINGLE CAR is so slow in front of you ... YOU CAN'T DRIVE ANY FASTER - that makes you end up looking ...
