Pillow talk

yes, me finally went shopping so no, this is not some juicy-spicy bits about celebrities ... but about something I bought today =)

you see, i've got myself yet another .... drum roll ... a pair of new pillows!! What so big deal eh?

Of course it is, first of all, it was a buy-1-free-1 deal (ha, that explains the pair of pair pillows)! =p. thanks sis! Second; coz this brings my pillow count to 5 types+7 pieces. Add that to a quilt on my meagre single hand-me-down bed and I'm actually starved of space to lay myself (dont even bother of getting laid then...wtf)

but thats not the point. Thw point is its about me being a such a sucker for pillows, that I not only expect a pillow to be a ...er... pillow but to be the PERFECT companion AND that it should also be able a lumbar support, a bolster, a beanie and to add life to the room! phew ...

but why do i diversify my pillows so much that they could well form an organisation to run our public service (ouch)? I guess its about me not being to find the perfect pillow for my laden head. Grrr...after all these years, god-knows how many pillows (and how many buckaroos) have I thrown out of the window for not meeting one simpe expection of mine ... performance on the bed! =)

Ok, before you get funny ideas, I just want my pillow to just nicely elevate myself when i'm lying; providing a good balance between softness and firmess for a good night rest and not waking up to a super stiff neck! Easy isnt it? then how come its so difficult to get the perfect pillow!?! Heck, even my so-claimed genuine 60/40 goose down feather pillow has failed me for countless of times (pity those ducks)

i guess this is one fine line to toe, probably akin to getting the right balance between road handling and ride comfort. so this is story of how my fellow pillows got relegated to its role now ... sigh ... how come OSIM doesnt come up with pillows?

and i tot i was the only one particular bout pillows!

all the soft soft fluffy down pillows wont work, try contour pillow, it;s bout the ONLY pillow that i could actually sleep well in... else i will have breathing problem whilst sleeping.

and of cos the ancient chinese hard-as-a-brick pillow, that surprisingly works wonders!
