Deja Vu...

I took a ride on our public transport today. Yes, I took a Rapid KL bus from Midvalley to KLCC!!!

Hehehe... dont ask me why I did it, but i guess it was just a yen to break out of norm, away from my daily routine and also being terribly sick of getting stuck in KL's endless jam. Some more today is public holiday.

My first thought as I waited at the bus stand was ... How difficult it could be to take a bus? I mean, its not that I have not taken one before, but it was also then that I realised I have not taken one since bus ride cost 90 cents and they're called IntraKota. So that was REALLY REALLY long ago. But heck, what could possibly change, or what's the worse that could happen?!?

Neway, herez the story! Bus came, I boarded, and that was when i realise I have forgotten the golden rule of taking public transport. Be prepared with loose/ exact change!!! Needless to say, I was like a deer (with a RM 50 note) in the middle of a railtrack. Not a single person near to me that has small change! But at last, thank god for this sweet indian lady (who must have thought I'm the biggest living moron who pays for a RM2 bus fee with a RM50 note) who offered to pay on my behalf. I was like, WoW, thank you thank you!!! I would have been kicked out of the bus le. Well, I thought ".....and while you're at the peak of being an angel, how about giving up your seat as well? =)...." kidding, she was really sweet, thanks again.

Ha.... so that was my day, I shall not even talk about the journey home (via LRT + Komuter though) but suffice to say, deja vu can be really scarry yet funny at the same time. Sigh ...
