Mum's 68th birthday

Mum's birthday has always been special to me... dunno why but I'd always relate it my own age, partly because she brought me to this realm at 40. So taking off the great 40 from her age will give you my age ... thar-dah!!! cheap thrill huh?

mum's birthday nowadays has also been more significant after the Sept 11 attack of the WTC in New York, I could still vividly remember coming back from her birthday dinner to catch the event as it unfold via CNN. It took us quite a while to fathom what was going on then and when the enlightenment came, I could actually feel goose bumps all over my body!!! I mean, here am I celebrating life ... and lifes are being taken away right before the eyes of the world.

thats why, mum's birthday has reminded me again again, to celebrate life and the cherish the very essence of human relationship; to love and being loved.
